A complete step-by-step guide on how to register as a contestant, navigate the platform, and securely cast your votes.
Click on the "Register Contestant" link in the top navigation bar. Make sure registration is still open.
Enter your personal details, academic profile, and biography. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are strictly compulsory.
Check the boxes for the award categories you wish to contest for. You can select multiple categories if you qualify.
Upload a clear, high-quality passport photograph. You can also optionally upload up to 5 additional gallery images to showcase your profile.
Solve the simple security math challenge and click submit. Once submitted, your profile goes into a Pending state. You will appear on the voting page once the Admin approves your application.
Visit the "Categories & Vote" page. Use the category dropdown filter or the live search bar to quickly find the contestant you want to support.
Click the "Vote Now" button on the contestant's card. This will open up the secure voting modal.
Provide your details and specify how many votes you want to cast. You can use the quick preset buttons (e.g., 10, 50, 100 votes) or type a custom number. The total cost will automatically update.
Select your preferred payment channel:
Paystack: Instant automated card/transfer payments. Your votes reflect immediately.
Bank Transfer: Manual payments. You will upload a receipt which must be verified by an admin before votes are added.
Proceed to pay. Once successful, you can visit the "Live Standings" page to see the updated rankings in real-time!
